I loved that the hotel was just a short walk from the Old Capitol Museum and the beautiful Iowa Avenue Literary Walk, making my weekend strolls delightful and filled with history.

The stay at Courtyard By Marriott Iowa City University Heights was fantastic! The room was spacious and comfortable, equipped with a microwave and a fridge. The breakfast was surprisingly gourmet, featuring delicious Bistro breakfast sandwiches. Plus, the location was perfect for heading to Kinnick Stadium.

Parking situation was confusing.

In my wife’s opinion, it would be great if they had more staff available during busy meal times to help with service, especially for families with kids.

While the comfortable accommodations made our trip enjoyable, navigating parking during a busy weekend was challenging, especially with health issues in play. Plan ahead or consider alternate arrangements for ease. Dining options on site are a plus!
